Here are some easy DIY tips shared by Rohina Anand Khira CEO, AA Living on Instagram on how to subtly scent your home this monsoon without spending a bomb.
Put some laundry fragrance beads in a pouch and hide the pouches in discreet places like inside the corners of the sofa or behind books.
Add a pouch of cloves and any essential oil of your choice and keep them inside your wardrobe. So every time you open your wardrobe you get a whiff of the scent and this will also keep your clothes smelling fresh.
Mix 3 drops of tea tree oil with 2 tablespoon of baking soda and sprinkle on your rug. Leave this on for 4 hours and vacuum to lightly scent and deodorise the rug.
Saturate a cotton ball with 8-10 drops of essential oils like lavender, bergamot and place them at the bottom of the trash can, before the bin bag. This removes any foul smell from the trash can.
Add 3 drops of essential oil to your toilet paper cardboard tube and enjoy a nice lingering scent in your washroom without much effort.
