The wedding season is finally upon us and for Malala Yousafzai, Pakistani activist and the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Tuesday marked a very special and precious day in her life by announcing her wedding.

24-year-old Malala tied the knot in Birmingham, England with Asser Malik. The initimate ceremony looked like an intimate celebration with her family and the young couple looked wonderful in their wedding finery.

Malala donned a peach-pink-coloured ensemble. The elegant salwar kurti suit was embellished with golden gota-work, and the sheer dupatta had a golden border. She complimented the outfit with minimal accessories - a mang tikka, golden earrings, and bangles.

Malala opted for a simple makeup that we are totally rooting for. With dark arches, kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lipstick and contoured cheeks, she looked radiant. The groom looked every bit dapper in a three-piece black suit and a pink tie.

Born on July 12, 1997, Malala Yousafzai's autobiography entitled 'I Am Malala' is a remarkable example and tale of why each girl deserves the right to an education. The brave activist has been advocating for girls' education ever since with her international, non-profit organisation.
