Recently, Ranveer Singh was spotted devouring a giant Gujarati thali while promoting his latest release, 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' in Ahmedabad.
After ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, Singh will be seen playing the role of a Gujarati boy in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' again. Recently, he also expressed his love and inclination towards Gujarati people, their food, and culture.
Singh took to Instagram stories and shared glimpses of the massive Gujarati thali that had almost 30 dishes. Sharing his excitement about Gujarati food, he wrote, “Yum Yum” and “Jordaar Chhe.”
In another pic, Singh can be seen eating Mohanthal, a traditional Gujarati sweet made of besan, ghee and sugar. He was clearly tripping over the authentic dessert as his caption read, “Mohanthal! The Best.”
Recently, during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Instagram, one of his fans quizzed him about Gujarati snacks and that’s when Singh shared his incessant love for dhokla.
