Abhinandan Sharma for Zee Zest
Recently, TV personality and adventure lover Rannvijay Singha spoke to us about the life lessons he learned while shooting for Safari India, his latest TV show. Tap to read.
The actor and host mentioned that the first lesson he learned was that patience can take your places, lead to memorable experiences, and also, help you appreciate life.
"The Darwinian theory of ‘survival of the fittest’ is true in the jungle," he says. He adds that even the king of the jungle must hunt for his food, that's the law of the jungle. It teaches you to hustle for survival.
Rannvijay went on several safaris for the Safari India shoot and each type of forest made him realise that co-dependency is another key life lesson to take from the wild. Tigers depend on herbivore animals for food, vultures depend on tigers; animals, plants and birds depend on the river for survival.
He also learned that listening is better than talking. In the wild, being in tune with the surrounding is the only way to discover the beauty of the local residents whether they are avian, insects or mammals, and stay safe at the same time.
