The gang from Hawkins is back for their next Upside Down adventure! Stranger Things season 4 is launching in two parts. Part 1 premiers on May 27, 2022. Part 2 airs on June 1, 2022.
As part of the launch in India, Netflix India hosted a special event at Gateway Of India, Mumbai with highlight moments from Stranger Things projected on the historic monument. Here is a quick recap of the coolest fictional 80s kids.
Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, has moved to California with Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and her sons, Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton). Expect big reveals about Eleven's back story in this season.
Police chief of Hawkins, Jim Hopper, played by David Harbour, disappeared after the Battle of Starcourt in season three; only to be revealed in post-credits that he is imprisoned in Russia. What is he up to there?
One of the most memorable characters from Stranger Things, Dustin Henderson, played by Gaten Matarazzo, will be back in season 4. His relationship with Suzie is stronger than ever and he continues to drop truth bombs when needed.
Ryder reprises her role as Joyce. She receives a secret parcel from Russia which leads her on an investigative journey of her own.
Nancy Wheeler, played by Natalia Dyer, is also back. The older Wheeler sibling is predicted to run into a bit of trouble with otherworldly monsters. At the same time, she will also struggle with her relationship with Jonathan, (Heaton is Dyer's real boyfriend as well).
The streetsmart Californian, Max, played by Sadie Sink, who relocated to Hawkins in season 3, is dealing with the loss of her stepbrother and the events of the previous year.
Creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have introduced two new characters. Argyle, played by Eduardo Franco, is a pizza delivery man for Surfer Boy pizza and Jonathan's best friend in California.
Eddie Munson, played by Joseph Quinn, is the second new character. He is heads Hawkins High School's official Dungeons & Dragons club--Hellfire Club.
