Beyond The Parties, 7 Cafes In North Goa That’ll Blow Your Mind

Often thought of as just the party side of Goa, North Goa is also home to these stunning cafes that you should check out.

Known better as the partying destination, North Goa also has several serene cafes offering all sorts of cuisines, and beautiful views with them. Whether it is catching up with friends or making new ones, these North Goa cafes are just the place to be.

1. Cafe Chocolatti

Nestled behind a verdant walled garden on Candolim's Fort Aguada road, Café Chocolatti is a haven for English sweets and other global favourites. Set in the heart of the tourist activity but away from the shore, this sophisticated café provides a quaint retreat from the bustling street just outside its garden walls. The main front faces the lush garden and is home to the shop, the kitchen behind it, and the reception. The café area is hidden from the mayhem outside by tropical fruit trees and blooming plants. Under garden umbrellas, well-spaced tables provide for tasteful yet understated outdoor seating.

2. Infantaria Cafe

After a strenuous stroll around Blue Whale Water Park, this restaurant offers you delicious cuisine and a comfortable area to relax. Spaghetti, prawn masala, and a well cooked chicken fillet will be offered to you. The best dishes are fruitcake, lemon pie, and good cheese croissants. Try the delicious chocolate frappé, ice tea, or iced cappuccino here.

In the evening, live music can be enjoyed. The Infantaria Restaurant & Bar's well-trained crew is happy to show off how much they value its guests. Exceptional service is a priority for these restaurateurs. Here, prices are on the average. This place has trendy decor and a nice ambience.

3. Baba Au Rhum

Founded in 2006, Baba Au Rhum offers a wide variety of dishes, including soft, delicious baguettes, ciabatta, and croissants; eggs cooked to order; quiches and crostinis; hearty English breakfast options that can be tailored to your level of hunger or hangover (yes, they have small and large options); and delicious, healthful smoothies and shakes.

Both the guests and the energetic in-house music contribute to the bright, positive spirit of the space. Baba Au Rhum is the best breakfast in Goa, according to our insatiable search for great breakfasts.

4. Nata Goa Cafe

Situated in the centre of Anjuna, Goa, which is well-known for its delicious food and beachy atmosphere, lies Nata Goa Cafe. You will be amazed by the interiors' elegance and modesty as soon as you visit the location. The location has European feelings throughout and is furnished with simple-yet-effective decor. The place's cosy atmosphere will let you relax and forget all of your worries. Numerous potted greenery surround the eatery, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. In addition, the restaurant features a cosy outside garden area with plenty of potted plants. The ambient music tops everything else.

5. Eva Cafe

A lovely eatery with a view of Anjuna beach is called Eva cafe. This is the perfect location whether you're having a breakfast bowl or are on a romantic night time date with wine and a warm sunset glow. You may even stroll down to the rocks below and immerse your toes in the sea because of its location. Dressed in all-white, with lots of crochet, wooden furniture, deck chairs and an all-out boho vibe, it's an Instagram delight.  There are salads, eggs, muesli, crepes, sandwiches, pasta, drinks, and more. Since they close at 8pm, the best time to visit is at sunset.

6. German Bakery

Travellers adore this one for the simple reason that, after a morning swim at Anjuna or Vagator, who could resist a fresh croissant and carrot cake? There is a lot on the menu, so you don't have to limit yourself to the sandwiches and chai/coffee. It's open almost till midnight if you want to hang out and unwind. And, of course, those heavenly cinnamon rolls refuse to leave our mind.

7. Royal Enfield Garage Cafe

This garage-turned-café is the ideal location for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing time by the creek, whether they are history buffs, bikers, travellers, foodies, or just laid back. Some of the old bikes on exhibit at the cafe date back to World War II. Grab a bottle of cold beer and unwind in their spacious outdoor café located downstairs or in the air-conditioned café located upstairs. Although all of the cuisine is delicious, our favourites are the aloo tikki burgers, fresh salads, pastas, and thin-crust pizzas.
