Head To These Mumbai Restaurants For A Delicious Easter Feast This Sunday

With Easter coming up this weekend, we have curated a list of Mumbai restaurants serving some of the most delicious themed brunches. From traditional Easter spreads that include glazed ham, hot cross buns and bunny-shaped desserts to some unconventional dishes, there’s a lot in store for you this weekend. Get ready to be spoiled for choice.  

1. Slink & Bardot

The menu features egg-citing dishes such as the braised NZ lamb shank served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh pea puree, maple-glazed ham served with roasted root veggies and smoked pork jus and roast turkey, celeriac puree with charred Brussels sprouts for the meat lovers. For those who prefer something light, there’s asparagus, potato and Gruyere galette, served with rocket and balsamic dressing or the artichoke and spinach frittata, served with a summer salad and warm tomato salsa. Add their signature hot cross bun and butter pudding and Baileys hot chocolate to that. Pair them with their Easter-themed cocktails, such as the Berry Blush, a fruity concoction made with fresh berries, mint, sparkling wine and gin or the refreshing Lychee Spritz, a beautiful blend of lychee, vodka, kaffir lime and sparkling wine.

2. O Pedro

You don’t really have a reason to miss out on O Pedro's Easter-special spread. The menu features pumpkin acorda, smoked bone marrow toast, B**F ‘jeerem meerem, lamb BAF-FAD curry, Rita’s chicken omelette curry and great selection of heady cocktails such as Easter punch, sour story, strange gimlet, Pedro’s daiquiri along with live music by Mumbai-based band, Better Call Soul.

3. Pondichery Café, Sofitel Mumbai BKC

Expect dishes such as crackling pork belly with exotic vegetables, hasselback purple potato, traditionally baked meat pie, Turkey roulade stuffed with dried fruit and nuts, and bacon-wrapped prawn and asparagus. The bakery section offers treats like traditional babka bread, authentic carrot cake with Easter bunny, orthodox simnel cake, and handcrafted truffles.

4. Poco Loco

The menu starts with comforting soups, followed by fresh salads and appetisers such as the ham empanadas and cilantro aioli, or indulge in the fun and flavourful fried egg tacos. For  something vegetarian try the tacos de papa stuffed with tender potatoes and topped with zesty salsa. Next up, in the main course, you have vegan jackfruit burrito packed with protein and flavour, while the hearty chicken tamale varde. For something spicy, the roast chicken with spicy chipotle sauce is a must-try, and the mushroom ravioli offers a decadent vegetarian option. Pair them with their classic Mimosas and Bloody Marys and more.

5. Hakkasan

Their Easter brunch includes a hearty wild mushroom clear soup, their signature crispy duck salad with pomelo, pine nuts and shallot. Choose three small eats from a selection of options like crab dumpling with Singapore sauce, chicken and prawn shui mai, har gau, spicy chicken dumpling, stir-fry chicken in Szechuan peppercorn, crispy prawn with wheat flakes and more.

From the mains, enjoy the stir-fry chicken in lang chin sauce, Szechuan mapo tofu, vegetables in Szechuan sauce with asparagus, yam bean, shimeji mushroom and tofu, Stir-fry chicken in chilli oil; stir-fry lamb with ginger and spring onion and the list is never ending. Rice and noodles feature chicken Szechuan noodle; hakka hand-pulled noodle with shimeji mushroom and bean sprout or the truffle fried rice.

6. JW Cafe, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar

Except a delightful range of delights such as acacia honey glazed ham, stuffed crescent roll carrots, sweet potato and pecan nut casserole, specially carved salmon coulibiac and roast turkey, celery stuffing, giblet gravy amongst others. The Indian delicacies showcase Wayanad pepper lobster and batayer ka musallam among others. The brunch also features interactive stations for savoury biscuits and gravies along with seafood grills with homemade marinades. For desserts indulge in sinful cakes, entremets, petit gateaux, tarts and pies along with the classic hot cross buns.
