Paneer roll ingredients

  1. 4 rotis/ parathas or tortilla 
  2. 200 grams of paneer cut into long pieces or cubes
  3. 4 tbsp curd
  4. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 tsp chilli powder
  6. 2 tsp lemon juice
  7. 1 tbsp oil
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  10. 1 onion, thinly sliced
  11. 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  12. 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  13. 2 cups shredded lettuce

Step-by-step paneer kathi roll recipe

  1. Add the curd, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, oil and salt into a bowl and mix well. 
  2. Add the paneer pieces to the mixture and leave for marination for about 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a grilling pan on high heat, and grill the paneer pieces on both sides until the pieces have a charred mark. 
  4. Take the tortilla, rotis or paranthas as per your preference. Add to it a little bit of ketchup and then add the grilled paneer pieces over it. 
  5. Top the paneer pieces with slices of tomato and onions along with the lettuce and bell peppers.
  6. Roll them over from both sides, wrap them in foil paper and serve hot or at normal room temperature.

Pro tip: You can add green chutney instead of tomato ketchup for a more Indianised flavour.
