Medu Vada

It is made with urad dal and famous South indian breakfast and goes well with sambar and coconut chautney

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup urad dal whole black or white Onion, chillies,jeera, Salt as per taste 1 tablespoon rice flour optional Oil for frying

PREPARATION

    Grind the urad dal in a mixer grinder with less water Add all ingredients and mix well. In case, batter is too watery,add rice flour to it.

    Take the batter in to bowl and add salt chillies,coriander chopped, onions and add salt to it .

    Now put a kadai and add oil for deep fry .

    Now take the batter and make Vada shape and drop in to oil and fry both sides golden colour .

    Remove the excess oil and serve with coconut chautney or sambar .
