10 New Designer Labels That Needs To Be On Your Radar This Wedding Season

Whether you’re scouting for party wear or new styles for a wedding, there’s something new to add to your closet.

From intricately designed lehengas to new-age sarees and ethnic co-ord sets, there’s a lot of fresh fashion to choose from this year. Most of the new silhouettes combine maximalism with a slew of fresh trends that embrace crisp lines and minimal embellishments. Whether it's bright pinks or minty greens, there's no shortage of colour on the festive wardrobe scene.

To better acquaint you with the fresh collections from the designers to watch, here are the collections you'll want to wear for weddings, parties and beyond:

1. 24-7, 431-88 By Shweta Kapur

Noted womenswear designer Shweta Kapur’s 431-88 has a new collection aptly titled, 24-7. The range features ready-to-wear essentials that will take one effortlessly from day to night, perfect for every occasion and mood. Pick from draped sarees, statement blouses, flattering skirts, stylish co-ords, chic cargos, sleek shackets and more. The silhouettes are edgy and punctuated with interesting details like ornate blouses that feature fringes; crystal strings that delicately hold the front and back panels of a jacket; free-sized knotted skirts that flatter the body and more. Another noteworthy pick from this collection is the varied colour scheme - an exploration of ombre dyes, metallics and hand-embroidered greys and golds. Right from signature pleated metallics to eco-friendly vegan leather, Kapur’s sartorial exploration styles subtly lend a modernist touch. "My aim for 24-7 was to design something that makes women comfortable in their own skin and reflect their own vibe," she shares. “The molten metallic embroidery was inspired by the idea of how we portray this image of perfection to the outside world but most of the time for a lot of us, we are coming and falling apart inside.”
