Gourmands and party revellers make a beeline for Goa and the state never disappoints. Beaches and casinos apart, Fly Dining is the latest exciting offering on Goa’s dining scene. After having successfully taken off in Noida and Agra, Fly Dining now offers an exclusive culinary experience in Goa.

Seated on a table suspended at 160 feet, you will actually be savouring a five-star meal in the clouds, with the stunning coastal landscape of Goa as the backdrop.

The air is abuzz with excitement as you are seated and briefed about the safety measures. Then, as you fasten your seat belts and the 24-seater table takes off, it actually takes your breath away and the adrenaline rush is palpable.

Soon you find yourself dangling from a height of 160 feet, confronting a spectacular view around you and the world beneath your feet. Once up, the table is stationary—albeit, suspended—and the service begins with four staff members in harnesses and you enjoy a lavish meal.

Jaco Le Roux, Grand Hyatt Goa general manager and area vice president, South India, Hyatt Hotels, elaborates:“Grand Hyatt Goa is home to more than 101 experiences for both adults and children. The association with Fly Dining adds a unique dining experience to the combination of relaxing and adventure offerings already available on the resort."

Guests must be above 10 years of age to enjoy the Fly Dining experience. To allow guests to fully relish this incredible adventure, Fly Dining has been designed to comply with German safety norms—EN 13814—and international norms—ISO 17842-2015. Expert engineers have conceptualized and constructed the platform and its safety features.

From the seat belts to the type of crane used, each feature has been scrutinized and tested to ensure maximum safety. Fly Dining has been certified by numerous safety organisations across the globe, including Germany’s TUV Rheinland, the UK’s British Safety Council, and the American Society for Testing and Materials International.

Open for breakfast, high tea, sundowners, and dinner—prices begin from Rs 2,999 per person and Fly Dining offers three-course meals, which guests can select from fixed multi-cuisine menus.  The entire food has been curated by the expert culinary team of Grand Hyatt Goa.

Those relishing a breakfast here, have an array of dishes like khara pongal, muffins, croissants, fruits, a homemade granola bar and beverages to choose from. For dinner, one can start with an amuse-bouche of curried apple and walnut or perhaps a hummus and beetroot tartlette. For mains, you can relish a murgh biryani or ricotta and pine-nut ravioli, and end your meal with tiramisu.

The experience also features live music performances along with a service team ensuring a safe and memorable affair. This experience is not only limited to a meal in the sky, but can also double up as an experience for intimate celebrations, team meetings, and more.

Devi Prasad, director and managing partner at Vindev Adventure Hospitality, says:“Goa is a land of sun, sand, and sea and Fly Dining provides a bucket-list opportunity to access all of these three instantly from the sky. Guests can experience gorgeous sunsets, views of the beautiful sea just a stone’s throw away from the Bambolim Bay. This is surely a bucket list experience for everyone travelling to Goa as well as local residents.”

So, whether you’re looking for an epic setting for an anniversary or just an avenue for a fun meal with friends and family—Fly Dining proves to be an unforgettable experience. And now, even the sky is not the limit in Goa.
