Ingredients For Easy to cook banana halwa Recipe

  • 2 large overipe nendran/Kerala bananas

  • 2 tablespoon desi ghee

  • Small pinch of salt

  • 4 tbsp jaggery

  • Half a cup boiling water

  • Halp tsp elaichi powder

How to make Easy to cook banana halwa Recipe?

  1. Peel and mash the bananas to a pulp
  2. Add ghee and microwave, stopping every 30 secs till 4 mins
  3. Dissolve the jaggery in the boiling water and add to the ghee - banana mix
  4. Add a pinch of salt to the mix
  5. Microwave in 30s bursts, stirring in the intervals until dark brown Carmelized halwa is in a thick consistency. Allow it to cool and keep in fridge for 6 hours.
  6. The halwa is ready to eat. NOTE: My microwave is 700 watts so timings can vary depending on the size and power of your microwave.
