The only difference between them is cupcake contains buttermilk while mug cake contains milk and canola oil in it. INGREDIENTS FOR MUG CAKE RECIPE
- ½ cup refined flour (maida)
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- ½ cup melted butter
- Pinch salt
- ¾ cup milk
- Chocolate pieces
HOW TO MAKE MUG CAKE
- Take a bowl and add refines flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix it well.
- Take a separate bowl and add milk, melted butter, vanilla essence, sugar and mix well with a whisk.
- Now we will mix all the dry ingredients in it which we prepared earlier in the bowl.
- After mixing it well, we will take a mug which is heat proof and pour this mixture in it. After pouring the mixture, we will put the pieces of chocolate in it and press it in the center.
NOTE: Remember that the chocolate pieces have to be pressed and kept in the centre only, don't take them all the way down, otherwise they will stick to the bottom of the mug
Now we will put this in a preheated oven @ 180 for 12-15 minutes
