INGREDIENTS
1 cup roasted gram flour
2 cups sugar
2 cups ghee
2 cups water
PREPARATION
- Firstly, in a pan take 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water, bring it to a boil. Keep boiling and stirring till the sugar attains one string consistency.

- Now grease a tray with ghee.

- Keep the flame on very low and add roasted gram flour little by little, mix it well.

- Add 2 cups malted ghee, keep continuously stirring till all the ghee is absorbed and also the ghee will start releasing from sides.

- Immediately, transfer the mixture to greased tray and let it cool.

- Then cut into pieces. Mysore pak is ready to serve now.

STEP BY STEP
Mysore Pak is made from simple ingredients like ghee, sugar and gram flour. It was first made in the royal kitchens of Mysuru Palace for Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, the king of the erstwhile Mysore state. The king loved this simple yet delectable sweet and made sure that it reached common people.
