Ingredients For Pageon (Scallion Pancakes) Recipe

    • 2 cups flour

    • 2 large eggs, beaten

    • 1 tsp kosher salt

    • 1 bunch scallions, green and white parts; halved lengthwise and cut into 2- to 3-inch lengths

    • 1 1/2 cups water

    • 3 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying

    • Soy sauce (or spicy dipping sauce), for serving

How to make Pageon (Scallion Pancakes) Recipe?

  1. In a bowl, mix cornflour, eggs, Kosher salt, water and mix well.
  2. Heat a pan and brush it with oil. Pour the pancake mixture and place some chopped spring onion on it. Add vegetables of your choice.
  3. Cook on both sides and transfer to a plate. Cut into quarters and serve.
