- 8-10 Bread slices
- Oil for frying
For coating
- 1 Teapoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Seed
- ¼ teaspoon hing
- 1 Teaspoon chopped curry leaves
- 2 Chopped green chillies
- ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 Cups mashed potatoes
- 2 Teaspoon roasted and crushed coriander seeds
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup boiled green peas
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- 2 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
For stuffing
- 250 gm Paneer slices
For serving
- Green chutney
- Sweet chutney
How to make paneer bread pakora
- Heat oil in a pan, add Mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves and saute
- Add green chilli, red chilli powder, cumin powder and saute
- Add potatoes, coriander seeds, peas, salt and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes
- Add coriander leaves, chaat masala and mix well. Turn off the flame and let it cool down
- In a bowl add gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, carom seeds, salt, and water and mix well using a whisk
- Now take a bread slice and spread the potato filling and put the paneer slice in the centre and cover it with the filling and a slice of bread in the end.
- Press the sandwich gently, so that the filling and the bread slice will stick together
- Dip the sandwich into the batter and put it in the pot filled with hot oil
- Cook until golden brown
- Cut into half and serve hot with chutney (green or red)
