Masaba Gupta has her hands full. She continues to be a successful fashion designer, the mind behind House of Masaba, has just finished promoting the second season of her semi-reality web series Masaba Masaba, and is reading more scripts on the side. At the same time, she's always looking out for inspiration for her collections, and in her free time, inspiring her Insta fam to adopt a healthy and mindful lifestyle. And if you thought that would enough, you'd be wrong. The fashion designer-turned-entrepreneur and actor is ready to take on more. In fact, she already has. August 5, 2022, marks the launch of Masaba’s new venture, LoveChild, a brand that is a hybrid between beauty, skincare, and wellness.

Her aim with LoveChild is to bridge the gap between makeup and skincare, and to promote self-expression and the freedom that comes with it. According to the press statement, Masaba’s beauty cum skincare and wellness brand is an ode to her childhood, and her vision to marry beauty and wellness while embarking on a journey of self-love. On Thursday, as part of her pre-announcement posts on Instagram, the designer had shared a picture of herself looking into the mirror, and inside the mirror her childhood photo. “Lil me, I did it for you,” read the caption.

During an interview with a renowned magazine, in April 2022, Masaba had briefly spoken about her aim with this brand and said: “I want to make people feel like they're not just buying into a product, but also into a lifestyle, into a mindset. I want to help them go on a journey with the brand.” And now that the brand is launched, you can understand what she exactly meant. LoveChild offers an eclectic range of liquid and bullet lipsticks, nail paints, face mists, intimate wipes, and essential oils.

Each product in the brand’s range is clean and cruelty-free and is formulated as a ‘skin-vestment’, an investment for the skin. The packaging features quirky, nostalgia-inducing prints. A few examples include playing cards, cheese pieces, snakes and ladders, and orange candy.

The LoveChild website also features a wellness blog, which will act as a one-stop destination for all things beauty, wellness, and skincare. It will feature articles on tips and tricks for better skin, nutrition, and wellness. It will also give the consumers a peek into Masaba’s lifestyle and things she swears by – from yoga asanas, and foods to workouts.

In the latter half of 2022, the brand will launch unisex perfumes and a few other product lines.

Masaba’s LoveChild product lines are available to purchase on Nykaa.com and Lovechild.in.
