<p>Did you know that there is an ancient site belonging to the Indus Valley civilisation just 46 km from Chandigarh? Well neither did I until I recently visited the place also called Ropar/Roopar or Rupnagar. </p><h2>Hues of history </h2><p>Nestled against the picturesque backdrop of the verdant Shivalik ranges and along the Sutlej River, Ropar has the ruins of an ancient town that flourished over 4000 years ago. The site has many mounds that have been excavated between 1952 and 1955 by the Archaeological Survey of India. Y. D. Sharma discovered the town in 1953. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_IMG20230912165221_1711540292170.jpg"></figure><p>Interestingly, it is the first Harappan site excavated in free India and is the northernmost Harappan settlement in the Indian sub-continent that has relics of the early Iron Age culture. The relics indicate that Ropar was a flourishing industrial town and the best way to see this is to explore the site as well as the museum close by that has several artefacts that have been preserved post the excavation. </p><h2>Periodic past </h2><p>The history of Ropar is interesting as it spans several thousands of years and the first period recorded here belongs to the Harappan Culture (C. 2000-1400 B.C.). It is believed that the first settlers at Ropar were the Harappans who lived in houses made of <i>kanker </i>stones, river pebbles and sun-dried bricks. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_IMG20230912164910%281%29_1711540365869.jpg"></figure><p>A stamp seal made of steatite has been found that indicates that this was a commercial settlement. The second period called The Painted Grey Ware Culture (C. 1100-700 В.С.) was after a break of several centuries when the site was re-occupied by a new set of people who were living in the houses made of timber and grass. These people were skilled in making deluxe earthenware that was grey hued and decorated with black paintings. </p><p>The third period was the Northern Black Polished Ware Culture (C. 600-200 B.C.) that coincided with the era of the Buddha and Mahavira. The superfine pottery at this time had a highly shiny polish in various shades like black, grey, blue, gold, silver, red and brown and this is the period of when Indian coinage made its debut. The fourth period Sungas, Kushanas and Guptas (C.200 B.C.-A.D. 600) and this is when Ropar was possibly part of Kuninda or Audumbara republic. The archaeological material in forms of pottery, terracotta, coins, and seals have been found indicating the same. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_IMG20230912164110_1711540454461.jpg"></figure><p>The fifth or Early Medieval Period (C. 700-1200 A.D.) saw the town’s southern part occupied and houses of bricks were constructed. Starting with a map that lists the excavated sites in Punjab dating to the 3rd-2nd millennium B.C., the museum is a treasure trove of antique artefacts. There is an extensive display of terracotta pots, terracotta figurines, shells, and coins. The excavation revealed remains of burnt brick structures all over the site. Besides, four small oval kilns, found in a row in the eastern sector. Many of the items are also in Delhi according to him. </p><p>The site has a place which is like the remains of an old well. You can enter inside the building and it is stark again with a brick facade with some windows as well as a door that leads you outside. While the structure here is believed to be the rest house of the erstwhile royal family of Nalagarh, the Harappan site where bricks of that civilisation can be seen is behind this and a railing erected by ASI is the indication. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_IMG20230912165509_1711540630123.jpg"></figure><p>There is also a large well-like structure here believed to be from the Harappan times. However, there are no authentic details displayed at either place except that this is an ASI protected site. <p>We’ve quaffed <i>bhang thandai</i> during Holi, popped <i>bhang golis</i> during Maha Kumbh, munched on cannabis cookies in the Thar desert and had <i>bhang lassi </i>at Government authorised <i>bhang </i>shops from Allahabad (Prayagraj) to Varanasi, Pushkar to Jaisalmer and Ujjain to Omkareshwar. </p><p><i>Bhang</i> is the oldest known cannabis edible, with Hindu texts dating back to 1000 BC recording the use of <i>bhang </i>by Shiva’s devotees during religious rituals. Associated with festivities such as Maha Shivaratri and Holi, <i>bhang thandai</i> is a cannabis and milk-based beverage that provides strength and vitality, soothes nerves and elevates your mood that borders on euphoria. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_6_1711267937338.JPG"></figure><p>According to Hindu mythology, the <i>Samudra Manthan</i> (Churning of the Cosmic Ocean) yielded many precious objects, including the poison <i>halahala</i>. Since no one could bear its toxic fumes, Lord Shiva consumed it. Alarmed, Parvati grasped his neck to prevent him from swallowing it, which turned his throat blue, earning him the name ‘Neelkanth’. It is also believed that Parvati gave him cannabis as medicine to ease his discomfort. Which explains the association of the herb with Lord Shiva and the practice of pouring water, milk, honey or ghee on a <i>Shivling </i>‘to cool him down’. From <i>bhaang </i>to <i>thandai</i>, all things cool and calming are preferred by him. </p><p>Before you wonder about the legality of it, the 1985 Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act bans <i>charas</i>/hash or cannabis resin and <i>ganja </i>or flowers. However, the seeds, stems and leaves of the same plant Cannabis Indica are exempt. Since bhang is made by grinding the leaves into a paste, it is legal in India. And so are <i>bhang </i>preparations. Here’s our Holi special – cannabis treats specially curated from our travels across India. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_2_1711267730201.jpg"></figure><h2>Bhang gulab jamun and kaju barfi </h2><h3>Bhagwan Das Prahlad Das & Sons, Prayagraj </h3><p>Established in 1834, the 190-year-old sweet shop Bhagwan Das, Prahlad Das & Sons in Prayagraj’s busy Chowk area is known for its breakfast of <i>puri-sabji</i> and <i>samosa</i>, besides excellent <i>imarti</i>, <i>jalebi </i>and sweets made with pure <i>desi </i>ghee. Their <i>motichoor laddus</i> made with small <i>boondis </i>are simply exceptional. Every year, during Shivratri and Holi they also prepare limited batches of <i>bhaang gulab jamuns </i>on request. It’s so good, your mind will go <i>balabjalam</i>! They also make <i>bhaang kaju katli.</i> “The key is in extracting the essence of <i>bhaang </i>in the ghee. You can hardly discern any change in taste,” says fifth generation owner Ankit Gupta. Travel to Prayag for a bite of it, stay at Badi Kothi and take a holy dip at the Sangam to wash away your sins. </p><p><i><strong>Where: 126/2, KP Kakkar Road, Zero Road, Prayagraj </strong></i></p><h2>Bhang kulfi </h2><h3>Ramesh Kulfi, Jamshedpur </h3><p>After a quarrel at home, Ramesh Prasad came to Jamshedpur from Jasidih in 1966 without a penny in his pocket. He only knew how to make good <i>samosas </i>and <i>kulfis</i>. Opportunity struck when there was a need for a canteen near the Court. He promptly impressed the District Judge with 12 <i>singadas </i>and 12 <i>kulfis </i>and earned a space to open Ramesh Kulfi in 1972. Ramesh Prasad passed away few years ago, but his sons continue to serve Deoghar-style mutton <i>atthe </i>(curry), fish curry meals and their legendary <i>kulfi</i>. Every year during Holi they make limited batches of their special <i>bhang kulfi</i>. As creamy as the regular <i>kulfi </i>and equally delicious, the green version packs a punch, so consume with care. Like a beer ad once put it, ‘it’s like being hit at the back of the head with a wet sock, only better’. </p><p><i><strong>Where: Ramesh Kulfi, Court Canteen, Near Jubilee Park </strong></i></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_5_1711268006170.JPG"></figure><h2>Bhang thandai </h2><h3>Pandit Raja ki Mashoor Thandai, Lucknow </h3><p>Lucknow’s legendary <i>thandai </i>shop was started in 1936 by Ramadhar Shivadhar Tiwari and inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru. The shop gained fame as ‘Pandit Raja <i>ki mashoor thandai</i>’ after his son Vinod Kumar Tripathi or ‘Raja’. The <i>thandai </i>contains sugar, almonds, dry fruits, cardamom, pepper, saffron, fennel seeds, watermelon kernels, rose petals and poppy seeds. All the ingredients are typically ground into a paste by hand on a <i>silauti</i> (stone grinder); a recipe that’s remained unchanged for three generations. The <i>bhang thandai</i>, with cannabis extract added to the regular <i>thandai </i>is available all year round and served only on request. </p><p>Third-generation owner Ashish Tripathi is a major cannabis advocate and plans to start special sweets like <i>bhang laddu</i> and <i>barfi</i>. He insists that <i>bhang </i>has gained notoriety as a drug, but is actually a medication that induces hunger, clears bowels and calms the nerves… In Indian culture, intellectuals and elders have consumed it. The <i>thandai </i>shop used to host <i>baithaks </i>and <i>chakallas </i>(gossip sessions) where former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his poet friends discussed literature and politics. Writer Vibhuti Varma and former UP CM Kalyan Singh frequented the shop too, which continues to attract professors, lawyers and writers. Must try: <i>Thandai</i>  (INR 60 for small; INR 70 for big). </p><p><i><strong>Where: Kasturba Market, Gole Darwaza Chowk Chauraha, Opp Santoshi Mata Mandir </strong></i></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_dr-bhang-jaisalmer1_1711267784066.jpeg"></figure><h2>Bhang lassi/cannabis cookies </h2><h3>Government Authorised Bhang Shop, Jaisalmer </h3><p>Located at the base of Jaisalmer Fort since the early 1970s, the tiny shop was immortalised by Anthony Bourdain. Chander Prakash Vyas or Babu, better known as Doctor Bhang, represents the tech-savvy third generation. He has YouTube videos, an FB page and a killer spiel to hawk his potion to foreign tourists. “We have a light Baby Lassi for Japanese-Korean people because they have baby eyes, then Medium, Strong and Super Duper Sexy Strong – full power 24-hour, no toilet, no shower!” Besides <i>bhang lassis </i>in banana, chocolate and other flavours, they also have cannabis cookies and bhang chocolates. Dr Bhang took a long look at us and suggested, “Better you take Super Duper Sexy Strong!” A Dry Fruit lassi here is INR 300 and a plain lassi is INR 150. </p><p><i><strong>Where: Khejer Para, Manak Chowk, Amar Sagar Pol </strong></i></p><h2>Bhang Lassi </h2><h3>Blue Lassi Shop, Varanasi </h3><p>In the bylanes of Varanasi off Kachouri Gali en route to Manikarnika Ghat is a 90-year-old lassi shop that churns out a staggering 108 varieties of <i>lassi</i>. Started by Pannalal, it was known as Pannalal’s Lassi Shop until its blue interiors inspired some Korean tourists to rename it as ‘Blue Lassi Shop’ and the name stuck. Every visitor leaves a photo or a note and messages from fans are scrawled on every inch of the walls. The shop makes a mean bhang lassi that sets you back by INR 350 and about six to eight hours! Its inflationary pricing was spurred by a listing in <i>Lonely Planet</i> and Instagram fame. Grab a <i>shanti </i>spot by the <i>ghats </i>and watch the daily dance of life (and death) for hours. At Badal Thandai on Gowdolia Chowk, you can get <i>bhang ki thandai,</i> for as less as INR 60.</p><p><i><strong>Where: Ck 12/1, Kunj Gali, Kachowri Gali, Near Rajbandhu </strong></i></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_7%281%29_1711267848072.JPG"></figure><h2>Sukhi bhang/bhang thandai </h2><h3>Bhang Ghota, Ujjain/Omkareshwar </h3><p>In Ujjain, glug a <i>bhang goli </i>down with water or sip a <i>bhang thandai </i>at Shri Mahakal Bhang Ghota at Gopal Mandir Chowk – they also have <i>sukhi bhang</i>. Sree Mahakaleshwar Bhang Ghota on Mahakal Marg serves good <i>bhang thandai,</i> including a mango-flavoured one! The <i>bhang golis </i>are diluted in a milk and <i>thandai </i>concoction. You’ll find Bhang Dukan serving <i>thandai </i>in the lanes around Omkareshwar jyotirlinga also. </p><p><i><strong>Where: Gopal Mandir Chowk, Ujjain </strong></i></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_4_1711267896326.JPG"></figure><h2>Bhang goli </h2><h3>Sarkari Theka Bhaang, Mathura </h3><p>Mathura has its share of ‘<i>bhang ki dukan</i>’ that serve <i>bhang goli</i> and <i>lassis</i>, enriched with <i>badam </i>(almond), <i>kesar </i>(saffron), pista <i>thandai </i>and spices including cardamom, pepper and saunf (fennel seeds). Drop by at Sarkari Bhang Theka at Manoharpura and Holi Gate, run by Babbu Guru. A <i>thandai </i>here costs INR 40 and <i>bhang </i>costs INR 50. </p><p><i><strong>Where: Manoharpura and Holi Gate, Mathura</strong></i></p><h2>Bhang Murg </h2><h3>Club Mahindra Binsar Valley, Uttarakhand </h3><p>In the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, it is fairly common to consume protein-packed cannabis seeds and leaves in local cooking. Club Mahindra Binsar Valley serves a unique bhang <i>murg </i>– chicken marinated with hemp seed paste. Coated in a greenish brown paste it looks a bit like <i>pudina </i>chicken, but tastes more herby and nutty. They also serve it as part of a traditional Kumaoni meal on a <i>kansa </i>platter with <i>bhang ki jholi </i>(<i>kadhi</i>), <i>bhang ki chutney</i>, <i>bichhu booti ki </i>chutney (stinging nettle), <i>gahat ki dal</i> (horsegram), <i>arbi ke gutke </i>(colocasia wedges), <i>bhat ka jola</i> (black soya bean), <i>palak ka kaapa</i> (smoked spinach gravy), <i>jangora </i>(unpolished red rice), <i>madua ki roti</i> (ragi or finger millet flatbread) and <i>lapsi </i>(flour porridge). <p>While Athens is predominantly known for its historical heritage, there are signs of a modern metropolis at every turn. The Greek capital seamlessly blends ancient monuments and old commercial arcades with contemporary art galleries, street art and high fashion. What I found particularly appealing is its geography - everything worth exploring is conveniently situated in the historic city center, easily reachable on foot. So even a few days are enough to soak in the city’s famous monuments and quaint neighbourhoods. Here’s some of the ‘must do’ sites and local experiences if you have just two days in Athens. </p><p>Want to start in the most Greek way? Grab a koulouri (sesame bread) from any of the street vendors and a coffee on the go! </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_5-People-enjoying-a-meal-at-Orizontes-restaurant%2C-Lycabettus-Hill_1710835892228.jpg"><figcaption>People enjoying a meal at Orizontes restaurant at Lycabettus Hill</figcaption></figure><h2>Scale up the Lycabettus Hill </h2><p>Why not start at the top? Lycabettus Hill perched at 900 feet above sea level is the highest point in Athens and also one of the most romantic. While a walk up the winding, lush pine forest is undoubtedly picturesque, tackling it can be a test of endurance and a formidable challenge, especially during the summer months. I chose the funicular a small, cute train to take me to the top. The ride is barely three minutes inside a closed tunnel. Sadly, there are no views on the way up or down. </p><p>AlsoRead0</p><p>I reached the top at twilight just when the lights of the Acropolis lit up and the view was spectacular. The vantage point also serves as a reminder of Athens' coastal setting, providing breath taking views across the Aegean Sea. After taking in the views and a million pictures I headed to Orizontes restaurant for dinner with more sweeping across Athens. There’s also a small chapel on top and an amphitheatre that regularly hosts concerts, theatrical performances and dance shows. </p><p><strong>Note: The hike takes 30 minutes to an hour depending on the pace and fitness level. The funicular runs every 30 minutes. </strong></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_3-The-Parthenon-with-a-setting-sun_1710835966419.jpg"><figcaption>The Parthenon</figcaption></figure><h2>Get mesmerised by the Acropolis and Parthenon </h2><p>What would a visit to Athens be without going to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon? Annually, millions of travellers ascend the hill to marvel at the magnificent 2500-year-old monument that graces the summit. But no matter how many pictures you may have seen of the Parthenon, nothing prepares you for the immensity and grandeur of the structure which took nine years to build and was completed in 438 BC. Originally a temple, over the years the Parthenon evolved into a church, then a mosque and ultimately a storage facility for Turkish gunpowder. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_1-View-of-Acropolis-of-Athens-with-Parthenon-and-Erechtheion-from-Filopappou-hill_1710835989373.jpg"><figcaption>View of Acropolis with Parthenon and Erechtheion from Filopappou hill</figcaption></figure><p>In 1687 the Venetians blew it up. That’s not all. In 1801, Thomas Bruce a British ambassador plundered a substantial portion of the temple's pillars and shipped them to UK. The loot now sits in the British Museum! Though the Parthenon never recovered from this destruction on-going restoration work has brought back some of its glory. “The Acropolis is very important to us. That’s why we don’t have high rises in Athens so that everyone can see the Acropolis from everywhere and refer to it,” says Danai Bogiatzi a senior tour guide with This is Athens. </p><p>Just around the corner is the Acropolis Museum which houses all the artifacts discovered at the Acropolis. One of the highlights is the glass floor where you can walk over the ruins of an ancient neighbourhood.</p><p><strong>Tip: Expect big crowds during peak season (April-October). The best time to visit the Acropolis is at opening time in the morning or two hours before closing. Stop for a mid-morning snack of ‘kourou’ (a buttery cheese pie), at Takis Bakery situated under the shadow of the Acropolis. It was in this lively space that Socrates shared his philosophical teachings and in AD 49, St. Paul arrived to spread Christianity. Today, the site offers a serene escape, featuring the impressive Temple of Hephaistos, a noteworthy museum and a 11th-century Byzantine Church. “Agora means a market. In the ancient times they used to write all the news and hang on the walls here,” explains Bogiatzi. A leisurely stroll here is like embarking on a historical odyssey. </p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://www.instagram.com/p/CUmVjEsMqnk/?hl=en"></oembed></figure><h2>Coffee Break at Mokka </h2><p>Greeks and their love for coffee becomes apparent as soon as you land in the city. There are people everywhere lingering over a single cup of coffee for hours. Mokka, a century-old coffee roastery on Athinas Street , is just the place to join in. The coffee here is prepared in a ‘briki’ a long-handled copper pot nestled in hot sand. It is also an ideal place to explore local products such as olive oil, olives, cheese and spices. The small unassuming restaurants here serve local dishes crafted from the market’s fresh produce. Don’t miss a meal at Diporto (meaning two doors) a local legend. The service is brusque but the food is fantastic and served with retsina (white wine made with pine). </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_4-Plaka-is-a-beautiful-part-of-Athens_1710844898614.jpg"><figcaption>Plaka in Athens</figcaption></figure><h2>Get lost in the Plaka </h2><p>Hopping from one ancient ruin to another only to land at a museum can be an overdose of history. The Plaka makes for a beautiful respite. Littered with neo-classical buildings, lively tavernas, brightly coloured homes and quaint cafes, the Plaka is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque parts of Athens. </p><p>It’s also the most touristed but with a heart nonetheless. Strolling around its narrow lanes with brightly painted doors, bougainvillea spilling from colourful balconies and graffiti covered passageways feels very mysterious… like you have stumbled upon a secret! </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_13-Brettos_1710845550234.jpg"><figcaption>Brettos, the oldest distillery in Athens</figcaption></figure><p>Sitting on the steps of Yiasemi a local restaurant and tucking into pies is the best way to wrap up a tour in Plaka. But not before you down a few shots of ouzo (anise-flavoured aperitif widely consumed in Greece) at Brettos the city’s oldest distillery and a gelato at Arte. Plaka is also a good place to shop for souvenirs, jewellery and local Greek products. </p><p><strong>Tip: Those looking to take home some ouzo should check out Angelo, while Elaias Gi has good quality Greek olive oil</strong></p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://www.instagram.com/p/CpE3gIbo8v-/"></oembed></figure><h2>After Hours in Athens </h2><p>Athens truly reveals its magic at night. It has more bars than anyone could explore in one visit. Varnava Café in Pangrati is the place to go for people watching with a nice cocktail or a glass of wine. Grab a table outside under one of the big trees and enjoy a charcuterie plater. If you are looking to let loose (read get dancey) Tsin Tsin near Exarchia is a great spot. This is where half of Athens gathers to have a good time. The décor is eclectic and the music selection interesting (David Bowie, Madonna, Percy Faith). But the most favourite spot of Athenians is Dentro All Day Bar in Voula’s square. Curled up under a eucalyptus tree it’s always buzzing with young people and families enjoying a good conchiglioni (shell pasta) hot dogs and bruschetta. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_15-Athens-Riviera_1710845496698.jpg"><figcaption>River Athens</figcaption></figure><h2>Discover the Athenian Riviera </h2><p>Idyllic palm-fringed beaches and azure waters may not be the first things associated with Athens but it’s one of the many delights of the city. The Athenian Riviera which covers the beautiful Athens coast between Piraeus and Cape Sounion is a short bus ride from the city centre. Littered with stunning beaches, relaxed cafes, fresh fish tavernas, nightclubs, water sports clubs and outdoor cinemas, this coastline certainly has something for everyone. You could just chill on the beach, hire a small boat with a driver and explore the tiny inlets and islands or spend the day paddle-boarding. The biggest decisions will be which seaside taverna to eat at. Garbi is immensely popular for its fresh catch. “The best way to make your trip memorable is to take a dip in the water – it’s clean, clear and very safe,” assures Bogiatzi.<br><strong>Tip: Take the tram from Syntagma Square to Voula </strong></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_11-Delicious-Greek-Style-Souvlaki-From-_Greek-On-Soul__1710845276881.jpg"><figcaption>The delicious Souvlaki</figcaption></figure><h2>Eat like an Athenian </h2><p>Eating in Athens is a wonderful, unhurried affair. Greeks love eating out and sharing copious meals with friends and family when the sun is out. From freshly baked pies to tantalising fish delicacies, rustic salads and decadent <i>loukoumades </i>for desserts, foodies are spoilt for choice in the Greek capital. <i>Souvlaki </i>– Greece’s most popular street food is the way to go. What’s not to like about grilled meat wrapped in pita bread with sliced tomatoes, onions, and yogurt? Each <i>souvlaki </i>joint employs unique techniques to make their wraps distinct from the competition. Some enhance the flavour with <i>tzatziki </i>(yogurt dip with grated cucumber and garlic), while others opt for plain, thick yogurt. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://assets.zeezest.com/images/PROD_24-Loukoumades_1710845308790.jpg"><figcaption>Loukoumades/ © Thomas Gravanis, This is Athens</figcaption></figure><p>Another must try is <i>horiatiki </i>- traditional Greek salad of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and three beloved Greek ingredients: feta cheese, olives and a generous drizzle of olive oil. A side of freshly baked bread is perfect for mopping up all the flavourful juices from the tomatoes, cucumbers and the tangy vinegar dressing. But nothing beats the fresh seafood. I still dream of the <i>Garides Saganaki</i> a dish of juicy prawns in a garlic-infused tomato sauce and topped with creamy, melted feta cheese. Here’s are some tips </h3><ul><li><strong>The best time to visit Greece is March, April, May, September, October and November. </strong></li><li><strong>Greece’s currency is the euro. All major credit cards are widely accepted in Greece. </strong></li><li><strong>The metro is the simplest and quickest way to navigate the city. The bus and the tram are perfect for reaching the Riviera. If you need a taxi, download the ‘Free Now’ taxi app (like Uber). </strong></li><li><strong>Remember to pack your most comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of exploration on foot. </strong></li><li><strong>There is no service charge at bars and restaurants so tipping is welcome. This tunnel will bypass the Sone River, allowing the expressway to seamlessly connect Sasaram, Tilauthi and ultimately Aurangabad via the Grand Trunk Road.</p><p>This new expressway aims to bridge the gap between major trade routes, slashing logistical costs and fostering economic exchange.
