After the exhilarating Backstreet Boys concert, Mumbai is now gearing up for Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter Rema’s India Tour. Here’s what we know about the tour. 

The 23-year-old artist broke the internet when his song ‘Calm Down’ went viral in 2022. He was also in the news for his collaboration with Hollywood actor and singer Selena Gomez for a remix version of ‘Calm Down’. 

He is in India for the ‘Rema Calm Down India Tour’, which is part of his world tour, and he will be performing in Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad on May 12, 13, and 14, 2023, respectively. 


In addition to singing his famous song ‘Calm Down’, Rema will also be performing tracks from his first album ‘Rave & Roses’. 



Reports suggest that his performances will use eye-catching props such as inflatable neon mushrooms, a rotating horse carousel with lights, and even graffiti-covered metal barrels, inspired by Rave & Roses. 

Rema may be accompanied by a six-foot, life-sized stuffed teddy bear mascot during his performances.

To start with, not many know that actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha met at the London School of Economics and have been friends since. 

According to reports, it all started when Parineeti was shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Chamkila’ in Punjab and Raghav had visited her on the sets. 


Their dating rumours started when they both were spotted together outside a Mumbai restaurant in March. A few days later, the duo were seen together at the Delhi airport too, followed by them watching an IPL match in Mohali. 


After being together for a year, the duo got engaged in a private ceremony at the Kapurthala house in New Delhi on May 13. Parineeti is over the moon, as she further wrote, “As a little girl in awe of princess stories, I had imagined how my fairytale would begin. Now that it has, it is even better than I had imagined.”

Rujuta suggests drinking a glass of variyali sharbat (fennel seeds) daily for a clear stomach. Fennel has great anti-inflammatory properties that help to combat acne and leaves you with clear skin.


For a cool and calming effect, Rujuta recommends drinking soaked vala roots (vetiver) water. Popularly known as khus in Ayurveda, it contains anti-inflammatory properties that leave you with clear and beautiful skin. 


She also advises to finish your bath with half a bucket of water with some chandan added to it. It will help you cool down. 


For pigmented skin, she swears by the humble kulith kalan. She explains, “An easy to prepare drink that’s made with buttermilk, kulith (horse gram) and spices, Kalan is traditionally used to keep the body cool in the hot summers.”


Elaborating on its multiple health benefits, she further wrote, “It’s the perfect drink for late nights, after parties and my go to option when I don’t feel like a full lunch. Amino acids, polyphenols, good bacteria. This nutrient loaded drink is surprisingly light on the stomach too.”
